Grandparents Day - 13 September
Grandparents Day!
The purpose of the day is to honor grandparents, give them an opportunity to show love for their children's children, and help children become aware of the strength, information, and guidance older people can offer.
At Chaga Health Australia, we are celebrating our beautiful grandmothers.
Great grandmother Anu-Tiiu is 82 years young and loves her family (1 daughter, 2 granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters) more than anything in this world.
She does not like to cook (although her family can attest that she can make the most amazing patties out of any vegetable) or clean and would much rather spend her time reading. Lately her favorites have been stories about historic people and artists. Besides reading, she also loves knitting and is quite talented at it.
She spent 20 years singing in a choir and worked as an engineer for most of her life.
She has been a keen traveler all her life, has visited 33 countries and thinks her favorite places (besides her beloved home in Estonia, of course) are Siberia, Pompeii in Italy, pyramids in Egypt, Peru, Great Wall of China. She has visited Australia three times (one of which was a 5-week road trip halfway around the continent in a campervan!) and waiting patiently for the borders to re-open so she could visit again. She goes to gym every week and still helps out her daughter with her business as much as she can.

People say its age that makes us old, but we believe its our state of mind that us old. Age is just a number!
Wishing all the beautiful grandparents all the health and happiness in the world.
